Meet Kale Patterson, BDM VIC
If you weren’t an amazing BDM, what job would you covet and why?
I thought about this, and I have always wanted to be a pilot, due to my passion for aircraft. I absolutely love the flight simulator games and have clocked up many hours playing these.
What dynamic attributes do you bring to the BDM role?
I previously worked in Senior Credit roles, and I work well with both internal staff, and enjoy building lasting relationships with my broker partners. I think it’s important to approach every transaction with a Can-do attitude and I am always looking for a way forward.
What made you make the career change to join ORDE?
Our team believes in the power of one, and it is not just words – we work as a singular unit (sales, credit, settlements and customer service) to deliver the best outcome for our brokers and customers. I personally find it great that an ORDE BDM manages all different products – it’s a great way to keep you on your toes, whilst enabling brokers to diversify their own offerings.
How do you see ORDE as a great fit for a broker business model?
ORDE has one of the broadest product suites in market and by being digitally enhanced we have managed to create an extremely easy end-to-end process for our Broker network. By having such a broad product suite and a single BDM, brokers can have confidence in diversifying their own offerings. Being a growing business ourselves we are just as much invested in our broker’s growth as much as ORDE’s.
